17 years building tech. Now building for lawyers.
Complir.ai is founder-led. I've built products for millions—now I'm building for you.

After 17 years in software engineering—building platform teams, visual search technology, and an Answer Platform that serves 350 million users monthly—I wanted to build something of my own. The timing felt right: a new generation of AI was opening possibilities that didn't exist before.
A friend in the LegalTech space saw an opportunity in Brazil, where compliance pressure is high and analysis fees are fixed. We ran a pilot. Lawyers told us our solution worked better than ChatGPT. That got my attention.
But the real insight came from my own work. Using coding agents like Claude Code, I stopped writing code—I started collaborating with AI. And I thought: if agents work this well for programmers, why isn't anyone building this for lawyers? That's what Complir.ai is: not a chatbot, but an agent that works alongside you.
Built on transparency
Transparency First
LLMs hallucinate—it's when, not if. So we show our work: every answer cites exact paragraphs, every recommendation shows its reasoning. You can verify everything.
Privacy as Law
Lawyers are bound by professional secrecy—breaching it can result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the bar. We treat your data with the same standard. Never sold. Never shared. Anonymized usage helps us build better tools—your documents stay confidential.
Agents, Not Chatbots
You define the objective. Our agents do the research, ask follow-up questions, and collaborate with you to reach the answer. Then they learn for next time.
Trusted Sources
ChatGPT searches SEO-optimized web pages. We search legal databases—judgments, rulings, legislation—sources you can actually cite.
"To build for lawyers what Claude Code is for programmers."
